The thing that I like is how it work and how it is set. I think that is story is organized very well. I describe each character and each setting clearly. There are many things that I like about the story. The part that I like about the story is that the pilot is happy and safe from drop the plane because not many people survive in the war. I also like how the pilot and the nurse work together well when the commander coming and meeting the pilot. I said they working well together because the nurse helps the pilot to tell the commander only a minute. I thing the nurse help because the pilot doesn’t remember about what had happen to him so he cannot tell the commander.
The thing that I did not like about the story is about the commander. I don’t like that part because is doesn’t tell a lot about it. I think that if the book told more about the commander more it would make the story more interesting. I also don’t like about the story is it didn’t tell who shot the pilot and it also good if the story told more about the beginning of the story.
I think that Roald Dahl called the story “Beware of the dog” because this story is happening to someone that he knows.
I think that the pilot will go back to his country and he will go back to work. I thing that he also help to teach the new pilot that ready for war.

What did I like bout the story?

I like how the characters felt in the story because I liked how the pilot was brave when he lost his leg during an air battle. I like when the nurse took care of their enemy nicely.


What didn't you like about the story?

I like most of the events and the settings but I didn't like how it started off sad because I personally like book which start off happy and feel like you want to keep reading to the end.

Why did you think Roald Dahl called the story "Beware of the dog"?

I think he called it that name because it might have been based on real events happening during the war and also I think it's named after a French plane because it french. I also think that the plane who shot him down was the dog.

What do you think the pilot will do next?

I think the pilot will go to POW which is prisoner of war because he is in the enemy hospital. I think he will work like a slave and not get good care from the POW hospital and I hope he lived thought it.

I like this story because the man lost his leg but he felt excited because he survived. Also I like the personality of the man think positive way.
I think the meaning of beware of the dog is be carful to dog and the dog mean german enemy.
I think the next happen to pilot is the German enemy will use pilot for hard work.

I like this story because the character that lost his leg after he was shot didn't think negatively. He remains optimistic. He feels excited that he survived. So this story teaches us to not give up, to think positive and gives courage to people to stay strong.
What I dislike about the story is the part when the pilot lost his right leg. It was sad, deeply sad and I feel so sorry for him.
Roald Dahl called the story "Beware of the dog" because the story was written about World War 2. The other reason is about the sign that the pilot saw ""Garde au chien" which means Beware of the Dog’s. This tells us to be careful what to say to the enemy. The dog means the enemy.
I think the pilot might go to the prisoner of war camps because the place that he stays is in his enemy place.

1) I like the story because the pilot lost his leg in the Spitfire after the bullets have hit him but he could survived. He was a strong and brave man.
2) I don't like the story that was too much detail and some part were very confusing.
3) Roald Dahl called the story "Beware of the dog" because he wanted to tell people to be careful of the enemy.
4) I think the pilot go to the prisoner of war after he left the hospital.

Question number 1
I like this story and the main character because he is very positive.
It seemed really realistic and interesting.
Question number 2
The story doesn't have any information about why he lost his leg because at the beginning of story he already lost his leg and I didn't know how did he lost his leg.
Question number 3
At the nearly end of the story he was in the enemy hospital and the enemy and dog mean enemy people. The main Character supposed to been ware.
Question number 4
I think he will go to jail because now he is in enemy hospital.

1. I like the plot of this story. It's very clear and it shows the protagonist's felling about each situation.
2. I didn't like that some parts are not realistic. For example, if someone lost their leg, normally they would suffer a lot but this story's pilot was so excited about it.
3. I think they compare a dog to german people.
4.I think he will get a prize about his arrival and that he didn't breathe a word of their secret.
